Fishing derby

Pack 454 families spent Saturday morning at our 2022 Fishing Derby! It was fun to watch many children reel in fish with our top fisherman catching 5 fish! The kids were also excited to see the turtles and crawdads! 

water balloon battle & make your own ice cream

Pack 454 had a blast this last weekend at our Mega Water Balloon Battle & Make Your Own Ice Cream Summer Adventure! The boys may have even gone after Cub Master Kyle with the water balloons! Thank you so much to all our volunteers who helped make our event so much fun!

Mountain adventure day

A huge thank you to the leadership team for such a successful and fun Mountain Adventure Day! The pack had so much fun while learning skills about the wilderness, fishing, building each other up, working together, and how to build a campfire to name a few. We ended the day with advancements and the retiring of flag. Way to go Pack 454! 

Den Hike

Today the lions completed their 5th and final adventure as lions with a safety hike. They practiced looking out for snakes, learnt what to do if lost and learnt three leaves, let it be. Afterwards, we celebrated our amazing year with pizza and amazing lion cupcakes! Thank you to all of the parent volunteers for an amazing year for the lions! 

Snake Pack Meeting

A huge thank you to Snakeout aka Jake the Snake guy for  coming to our Snake Pack meeting tonight. The Scouts learned about snake safety, what to do if they get bit, and even got to pet Jake’s pet snake, Pinkie. We’re ready to stay safe on the trails now! Thank you Jake! 

Blue & Gold

Pack 454 celebrated Boy Scout's 112th birthday with our annual Blue & Gold Ceremony! With carnival games and a competitive cake contest, fun was had by all. Happy Birthday Boy Scouts!  

Snake Pack Meeting

El Dorado Hills Pack 454 continued the tradition of honoring our Veterans by marching in the 2021 Folsom Veterans Day Parade.  Thank you all veterans for your commitment and service to our great country! 

Webelos 2 event

Thank you Troop 454 for hosting Pack 454’s Webelos 2 dens tonight! Our boys enjoyed seeing what their journey into Boy Scouts looks like (and carving pumpkins was pretty fun too!)
