The LION Den

 Kindergarten

The Lion rank is for Cubs who are in Kindergarten or are age 6. To earn the Lion badge, they must complete five required adventures with their den or family. As they complete each adventure, they will receive the adventure loop for that adventure, which they can wear on their belt. When the Cub has completed the five required adventures, they can receive the Lion badge. 

What is expected of my Lion Scout and me?

Parents are expected to attend all meetings and participate with their scout! While Lions, parents are also expected to consider their talents and volunteer to plan and lead at least part of an adventure.

The Tiger Den

 First Grade

The Tiger rank is for Cubs who are in first grade or are age 7. To earn the Tiger badge, they must complete six required adventures with their den or family and one elective adventure of their den or family's choosing. As they complete each adventure, they will receive the adventure loop for that adventure, which they can wear on their belt. When the Cub has completed the seven required adventures, they can receive the Tiger badge. 

What is expected of my Tiger Scout and me?

Parents are expected to attend all meetings and participate with their scout! While Tigers, parents are also expected to consider their talents and volunteer to plan and lead at least part of an adventure. 

The WOLF Den

 Second Grade

The Wolf rank is for Cubs who have finished first grade or are age 8. To earn the wolf badge, they must complete six required adventures with their den or family and one elective adventure. Their parent or guardian and den leader approves each requirement by signing their book, and the Cub receives an adventure loop for each adventure.  

What is expected of my Wolf Scout and me?

Parents are encouraged to attend all meetings and participate with their scout! 

The BEAR Den

 Third Grade

The Bear rank is for Cubs who are in second grade or are age 9. To earn the Bear badge, they must complete six required adventures and one elective adventure. Their parent or guardian and den leader approves each requirement by signing their book, and the Cub receives an adventure loop for each adventure.

What is expected of my Bear Scout and me?

Parents are expected to attend all meetings and participate with their scout! 

The WEBELOS Den

 Fourth & Fifth Grade

The Webelos dens are for Cubs who have completed third or fourth grade or are age 10 and above. Webelos Scouts get to work on the five required Webelos adventures and choose two of the 18 elective adventures that are shared by the Webelos and Arrow of Light Ranks. 

When they have done the requirements for an adventure, the Webelos den leader, rather than a parent, approves most of the adventures. For each adventure they complete, they receive a pin to wear on the Webelos colors or on their hat. After completing seven adventures, including five required adventures and two elective adventures, a Scout can receive the Webelos badge.
